Inflation, waste and heat build up threaten our future.
Conservation is one of the best ways to keep up with inflation.
Conservation is the key to stability.
Common sense conservation is the opposite of waste.
Conservation is an insurance policy on our future finances, health and happiness.
Common sense conservation creates constructive controlled change that puts dollars in your pockets and cleaner air and water for our good health.
Once we used the term "deep in the forest" but now there is no deep forest. Only forest and soon it will be gone as well as our fish, deer and other wildlife.
In the last 100 years we have lost 50% of our birds.
We've just had the hottest eight years in recorded history.
We are experiencing massive insurance premiums due to increased fires, storms, etc.)
In 1970 south Florida averaged 8 days over 105* - now 50 days over 105* in 2022.
In the next two years, gas prices may rise $5-$8 per gallon (pick up truck drivers?).
The reasons for our heating are much simpler than the complex explanations you have been receiving. Our up to date accurate information is no puzzle. It is a treasure map we can use to enrich ourselves and at the same time clean up our surroundings with no cost. We look forward to you reading, understanding, enjoying and capitalizing on this new critical information.
The economy and ecology team up for the best of both worlds!
At the Earth Year Project, our mission is to minimize extensive loss of human, natural resources and financial resources due to inflation, waste and heat accumulation.
ChattART (sponsor) has been a problem solving organization since 1987, We have a proven track record of successful campaigns and initiatives that have helped to improve numerous difficult challenges in a variety of fields focusing on our surroundings.
Our team is made up of dedicated individuals who are committed to solving social challenges. We have experts in the fields of finance, sustainability, ecology, and conservation who work to further our mission.
Here are some notes on the Earth Year Project.
First why. It is getting hotter quicker than any current models show, for many reasons.
Heat accumulation threatens our finances in all areas. Medical costs, food costs and energy costs all rise with the rise in temperature. Great losses in all areas of modern life are now on the horizon.
Common sense steps, if quickly implemented, can postpone and minimize this potential disaster.
We spent countless hours and our own personal funds to study, research, and develop solutions that any American and others can do to help. Things that SAVE YOU MONEY on gas, health costs and in many other areas. Easy money saving common sense solutions that help the planet and your pocket book.
Our past accomplishments with similar projects and programs make us confident in our qualifications. We will make a difference in this important area.
Who we are not. We are not rules, regulations and restrictions. We are people hoping to provide up to date true accurate information that people can use in their daily lives. Information that provides simple solutions that all Americans can live with and at the same time keep dollars in their pockets that they are now spending.
We are not red or blue. There are no red or blue tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, droughts, rivers, air, water, wilderness, gas, heat or dollars. There is neither red or blue, all there is is me and you.
Green and Gold complement each other.
Over and over it has been demonstrated that our economy and environment are directly related. So much so that they chose to make our dollars green symbolic of this .
Only 50-60% of the people in the United States are interested in saving the environment.
100% want to save money. This is one of the keys to this project's success.
The heat war is coming! Weather, crops, food and energy costs are unpredictable.
EYP Goals
Puts/keeps money in your pocket
Saves Earth's natural resources for another day
Brings energy costs down
Slows warming!
Cuts out large amounts of pollutants
Lowers carbon and heat build-up
We do this through simple, very slight lifestyle changes adding up to more money for you and less pollution for everyone else. The more folks that hear our easily understandable approach the sooner they/you will keep more of your money in your pocket not in the gas and energy corporation's pockets. This helps everyone else in the meantime. Energy costs lots of our dollars every day. There are many ways to save lots if you know how.
Heat melts ice, Ice makes weather; jet streams, ocean currents, etc.. Weather is responsible for the clouds that water our crops. No clouds, no rain. No rain no crops! No crops, no food. No food, no us. Rapid rapid change is in our near future. Not fifty years, but in ten to fifteen years. Large migrations from the equator have already started, THE HEAT is already affecting us in many ways. In ten to fifteen years the weather patterns will be completely different. This makes agriculture all over the whole world unpredictable. Low yield and crop losses will result in less planting to begin with, leading to massive food shortages.
So many simple things that can be done today by all of us are not being done. We are creatures of habit, Slow to change.
Any time from now gas may be as much as $3 to $4 higher a gallon. Gas may be $7 a gallon. This will be a huge blow to our economy and destroy the pocket books of many pick up truck drivers.
No matter what party is in office, the price spike is coming, It may be in fifteen months from now or it may be tomorrow. It is not coming from the government but from the petroleum producers. Oil companies are doing a careful balancing act. They know the use of oil is slowly declining and want to maximize their profits. On the other hand, if they charge too much it will speed up the change to electric vehicles. They will take advantage of any crisis.
Somehow, have we put our future in the hands of the oil companies? Sadly, it seems we have.
The reason for the heat and simple, working solutions are not being discussed. Our solutions to the challenge won't crimp your lifestyle, it will keep $ in your pocket and can be fun and effective. Greatly needed.
Soon we will all be united in the fight against THE HEAT!
The smarter you are the sooner you will act. It is already too late to stop THE HEAT! we can still take simple steps now that can postpone and minimize THE HEAT!
People have no idea how much rising temperatures cost us annually. It is responsible for much of our inflation.Every time the temperature rises we see a rise in prices.
Here is a simple example of our philosophy:
Accumulative actions can have quick positive results.
A penny saved is a penny earned/ waste not want not.........
Think how easy this would be, if we try, some will be able to save a few pennies of energy a day, some ten cents, some a dollar and some many dollars a day. Think of all the things you could do with your savings. If everyone saved one cent a day it would be three hundred million cents. A dollar a day saved is three hundred million dollars, that's $330,000,000 A DAY! One dime of energy saved a day, per person is over TWELVE BILLION DOLLARS a year! Think of the huge good it would do to save that much money, pollution and heat. Wasted energy is wasted money and a waste of our planet. With everyone saving energy this way we can see a quick improvement in our world. The more people who realize how easy it can be, the sooner we slow the heat in a quickly overheating world.
When heat rises it effects the clouds.
Clouds act as umbrellas do at the beach on a sunny day. They make a huge difference in our temperature. Surface heat that we are producing combined with a thinner atmosphere results in fewer clouds. The surface heat we create rises and evaporates the low surface clouds, Chemicals we produce create gasses that rise and evaporates the upper clouds. This is one of many reasons for increasing heat.
The Apple and the Atmosphere
Let the skin of an apple represent our atmosphere. The apple skin keeps bugs, dirt and most chemicals out of the apple while keeping the good part safe inside.
If something happens that harms the skin bad things can get in and destroy the fruit. Our modern daily habits that keep us so comfortable are harming the skin of our earth. This is bound to create present and future problems that can only get worse if not corrected. Solutions to this challenge are now available. It’s a simple matter of knowing what they are and implementing them.
Consumers could slow this immediately by not continuing to participate in waste. Our stumbling block is the fact that we are creatures of habit. The things we could do safely yesterday may be hazardous to do today.
This project educates people on ways to save money on electric bills, as well as gas and diesel fuel costs. We show you step-by-step how to do this.
With your help, this can be the most efficient and effective environmental and economic project in the history of the Earth. Our goal is to educate 100% of the population in the United States.
Help us help it grow. As more people hear of the Earth Year Project it will begin to “snowball”. Help us turn clean, efficient living into the newest fad.
So easy and so effective and so much fun to do something that really helps. Eventually, people will be competing with each other to see who can save the most money. Who can get the most MPG’s, who can come up with other money-saving ideas and inventions? Who can come up with new ways to get others involved and make this first step a leap? With your participation, this project can become the largest of its type ever. One that leads to real positive measurable change. A first step to a safer, more sustainable world.
You can most easily influence folks to change not by pestering them, but by letting them observe how you are doing things. Let them see the success of your efficient lifestyle. They will see the smile on your face from the money you continually save. The smile that comes from the inner feeling that you are really helping to make a difference.
What do you think about a car getting 70 mpg? How many miles per gallon does your car get? In 2022 gas prices in California were over $7 a gallon.
(picture below was taken in California in 2022)
ChattART has been a charitable non-profit organization interested in solving community challenges. We have worked with state, federal and local governments to solve many social problems. Here are a few of our past programs:
This is just one more of the seemingly impossible challenges for us to overcome like the many we have already overcome Our latest project takes the process out of the hands of government, oil companies, and environmental groups and puts it in your hands.
Here are a few of our past accomplishments. A more complete list follows prior to our scrapbook.
1. The Georgia Phosphate Ban
We were 100% responsible for this law and we were the only group to have people prosecuted for ignoring it.
2. The Lawsuit against Atlanta by GEP (Atlanta paid $18 million in fines)
We were latecomers. We wrote letters to all the people we had worked with in the last year (Corps of Eng, DNR, EPD, Georgia Wildlife Federation, etc,) asking them to write to the federal court favoring our position. The case was settled in a matter of weeks. This was only possible due to the previous enormous efforts by the Georgia Environmental Project in the early '90's.
3. Worked with the White House and the Department of Energy in the early 1990's on fuel economy that could save America up to 10% on gas!
4. Worked with a county government to run a Corps of Engineers park on the Chattahoochee in West Central Georgia from 2003 to 2017. It went from the worst place for crime in the county to the safest place. We were the first department to make a profit for the county in over 100 years!
We are going to educate as many people as possible about the true sources of heat and the simple steps they can take to greatly help address our accumulated heat crisis. We found many ways to do this that actually save you money and help the earth as well. We are going to do this with educational examples in video form, music, printed materials, and lectures. This will be done with easy-to-understand, easy-to-do solutions that any of us can do.
B.) Ultra Light Vehicles
Hybrids
1. 100+ mile per gallon
2. Affordable- under $10k
3. Home (solar) charging, 75% less than full-sized cars.
4. Little or no wear on roads.
5. Batteries are 25% the size of regular electric car batteries. You get four batteries instead of one for the same amount of material used
6. Inexpensive parts and repairs (lower insurance premiums)
Initially ULV's would see limited use in the Untied States. There should be a large market overseas. They could be used in emergency situations or by students trying to save money.
It is impossible to meet our future environmental goals if we continue to drive oversized, overpowered , wasteful vehicles which we are so used to driving. People should be able to drive whatever they want, big or small.
Without massive solar farms we will not be able to charge the present batteries without fossil fuel burning power plants. No gain possible without solar charging.
When gas gets to be $7+ a gallon many people will wish that they had a ULV. A one time purchase with a car/solar charger, and little or no maintenance is the way of the future. ULV's are perfect for many situations today. Low income, a first car, students, and elderly all could benefit from ULV's.
ChattART built it's first ULV in 1985. On the first outing it got nearly 80 mpg. In the 1990's a 1985 Dodge test car got an amazing 53mpg. Our 1987 Corvette got 38mpg in 2023. With today's available technology, a 100 mpg ULV vehicle should be easily obtainable. We hope to build such a vehicle this year that is safe, affordable to all, and fun to drive.
C.) The Official Chattahoochee River Museum
There are museums for nearly anything you can imagine, but there is no Chattahoochee River Museum.
No other project is more overdue than this!
The Chattahoochee River is the lifeblood of the State of Georgia. Georgia's two largest cities, Atlanta and Columbus are located on its banks. As many as 75 million people use Chattahoochee water every year. It is responsible for huge amounts of industrial, commercial, and recreational opportunities. It is responsible for billions of dollars of trade annually, yet it has no museum.
The museum should have three main focuses. They are water quality, historic preservation and economic development.
1. Water quality.
We believe water quality begins with public education. While we are interested in public education we feel like the largest, quickest solutions should be aimed at educating leaders like group presidents. big business board members and other educators.
If it were located downstream of Atlanta it could continually monitor water quality. Its should have equipment to quickly test water samples from Georgia and the rest of the United States. It could be a model for other areas of the United States and the world, and H2O education center "the University of Water".
2. History
The river has a rich history stretching back into pre-human times. Georgia is noted for its rich Native American history, Native Americans and Whites clashing, slavery in the Civil War and early industry.
3. Commerce
Economic development, its advantages and possibilities, consulting on all water matters.
It will be a boost to the well being of all citizens.
EVERYBODY HAS A RIVER!!
ChattART Selected Accomplishments 1987-present
The Earth Year Project
Thank you for your time and interest in this project, A Change for the Better.
At one time you and I were not aware of some challenge. Then somehow, somewhere we received some information or personal observations that “tuned us in” to that challenge. So many are not yet tuned in, This project is designed to do that as well as provide no-cost solutions. Solutions that all of us can use without any personal discomfort. Solutions that can and will make a difference!
The funding we receive from our memberships will be used to inform and educate millions of people. We will be doing this with our weekly videos (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc), as well as videos from other sites. After years and thousands of hours of work and research,
“The future is clear, the end is near, the time is here… for Earth Year!”
(Line from Earth Year CD song)
In the past, ChattART, sponsor of The Earth Year Project has always been self funded.
From 1987 to the present we have spent less than $10,000 total on our projects (mostly gas and printing) except for the Brush Creek project. We feel that what we’ve accomplished with our small expenditures makes us one of the most efficient groups in America. We have many large, important accomplishments that have had a visible, measurable, and positive effect in addressing crucial social challenges.
We feel that this may be the most important project we have ever worked on.
We are happy to provide more information on any of these topics you are interested in. (dates, names, etc. )
“The Project'' has the potential to be the most helpful and ‘beneficial to mankind’ that has ever appeared on the internet. The amount of good we can do is only limited by the amount of funding we have to promote it.
Thanks for considering becoming a member. We are looking forward to good people like you helping make this “The Project” that gets the ball rolling.
Thank you for considering this project, our first step to a real lasting positive change. Thank you so much for considering supporting our project financially and vocally. All it takes is us.
Wisdom works wonders.
While working with a group of Native Americans on locating ancient sites along the Chattahoochee River in 1987, we made an amazing discovery. It dealt with high technology that appeared to be thousands of years ahead of its time. We have shared our discovery with a number of professors and scholars who are as baffled by it as we are. The first discovery led us to more amazing discoveries.
To spark interest and keep people tuned in to the The Earth Year Project we are going to be discussing these discoveries on the website and Facebook.
After checking out our website, the Earth Year Project , find us under the same name on Facebook!
We are happy to announce that soon we will be offering for view our educational videos for not only our members but for the entire world to enjoy and learn from!
Working together we can make changes that will benefit the Earth and all of us.
The week of July 4th, 2024 was the hottest week in meteorological history.
What a hot summer it was. We have been hard at work to update all of our information on the heat with the latest facts. On dispersing our information we have in the past relied heavily on help from the media, but due to election coverage, the coverage on the economy and war in the Middle East we are having to rethink and replan our strategy for being able to successfully communicate our ideas properly.
We are a problem solving group. We enjoy challenges. We have a goal of educating 100% of the public.
All of us as humans living in today's society require electricity for much of what we do daily. From the time we wake up in the morning, to the time we go to bed, we are using electricity. From your alarm clock to your electric toothbrush in the morning, to your phone charger and night light, all use electricity. When asked 70% of the population think flushing a toilet does not use electricity. People who live in rural areas that have their own water pumps in their yard know differently. If you have water coming out of your pipes, there is an elecrtic pump somewhere creating pressure to deliver it.
Creating electricity produces heat. Everywhere you go, every store, every house, every business, every school, all are using energy and producing heat.
Our modern automobiles are giant heaters. They BURN fuel. Millions and millions of gallons of fuel daily. Millions and millions of cars all over the world daily BURN millions and millions and millions of gallons of fuel daily.
Still, many people wonder why the world is continuing to heat up.
Gee-whiz folks?
Here is where we are
Heat accumulates.
It melts the ice causing wind and ocean currents to change from their normal paths.
Weather (rain, heat, storm events etc.) become unpredictable causing loss of food crops and food shortages, storms, fires, heat waves, sea rise. famine, illness and wars.
The future is clear...the time is here...for Earth Year!
The Earth Year Project coming soon to a planet near You!
